No convincing evidence for the existence of any deity has yet been presented. Therefore belief in such is not warranted.

Anti-Nationalist
If your nation-state has done good things, then feel free to be proud of those good things. If it has also done bad things, do not deny them but instead castigate it. Getting worked up just because you were born on one meaningless tract of dirt instead of another is frankly idiotic.

Anti-Religious
Insofar as it teaches that faith is superior to reason, all religion is utterly and irredeemably evil and should be fought with all moral means. Teaching children to believe in religions before their reasoning faculties have fully developed is abuse.

Far-left libertarian and social democrat
I'm far enough to the left that the American Republican Party looks to me like nothing more than the Taliban and the Democratic Party looks like the Taliban Lite. How wonderful it is to have the option of two choices, neither particularly distinct from one another. The entire purpose of the government, so far as I care, is to protect us from the depredations of private tyrranies and provide useful services. In all things, nothing which fails to withstand the rest of reason should be allowed to obstruct anybody in any way who does not agree to be obstructed thereby without coercion of any kind.

Non-Rugged Individualist
None of this build a cabin in the woods bullshit. I'm just skeptical of people in groups and not inclined to much trust them, or inclined at all to be persuaded by the relative popularity of my opinions against those of numerous others.

Pacifist
If it is wrong to murder people because of their skin color, or their opinions about the supernatural, why is it ok to murder them because of their place of origin? I do not accept violence as a tolerable means for adults to settle their differences.

Reasoned Empiricist
Reality is only what the senses and reason perceive. No evidence exists for anything else. Only through the dispassionate gathering of evidence and application of reason can we develop any conception of reality that has any hope of being accurate, let alone corrected if wrong.
